Tell me about your training programs?

We offer several training programs to met your needs and budget.  We offer basic obedience which is a one on one program for you and your dog here on the property.

We have a full program and a partial program. Our full program offers Obedience, Collar Conditioning, Hold, Force Fetch, Pile Work, Handling, Single and Double, Boats, Blinds, Birds, Gunshots and Travel.

Our partial program is Obedience, Collar Conditoning, Hold, and Force Fetch.

What is required for my dog to come for training?

Your dog must be vaccinated with DLHPP, Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). It is highly recommended that they have a Lyme vaccine as well. Also to be on a Heartworm preventative and be parasite free. The owner will provide the heartworm and parasite products.

How long will my dog have to stay?

We do not have a minimum stay requirement....BUT it has been proven that in order to get your dog at least thru the PARTIAL program will take 3-4 months. Training is a process and there is much work involved and a ton of patience. Some dogs learn more quickly and others learn more slowly.

What does the training fee include then?

1. Training by a seasoned Professional Retriever Trainer.
2. Sanitary environment.
3. 24hr/7day a week supervision at our facility.
4. Birds(Ducks mainly)when your dog is ready.
5. Airport pick ups and deliveries are $25.00 each way.
6. Handling and Travel to events $50.00 per weekend(ie. Hunt Test, etc.) Entry fees are paid by the dog owner as well..
7. Personal Training sessions with the trainer and your dog, after Basics are complete.
8. Weekly reports on your dog.

What is the training fee?

The training fee for the one on one basic obedience is $40.00 an hour.

The training fee for the full program and partial program is $500.00 per month. $100.00 deposit required to hold a kennel for your dog until it arrives and $400.00 balance paid when your dog arrives for the first month of training. Training fees are due the first of the month that the dog will receive training in. We will send your bill in the mail.
